EPOX 210 casting epoxy resin 10 + 5 kg
EPOX 210 A+B
is a transparent epoxy resin with low viscosity.
Can be used as a casting resin, adhesive or for laminating. Its properties can be adjusted by adding fillers (Filler K5, chalk, aluminium powder or granules, groundglass, mica, graphite, PTFE, pigments, etc.)
EPOX 210A+B is a high quality universal binder based on epoxide resin, used primarily for:
- Binding several materials, mostly metal, wood, stone, marble, concrete, plastic (except
PE,PP,PTFE)
- Making of glass, carbon and kevlar reinforced elements, as automobile or
aeroplane prototypes, museum replicas, etc.
- Sealant for tool moulds
- Making industrial floors
- Moulding statues, stucco, etc.
- Used for filling joints in tile, concrete andnatural stone paving
- Sealant for fixing elements in electronics
ADVANTAGES
High tensile and compressive strength.
Low viscosity enables mixing with high quantities of inert filler, carbonates, talc, metal and ceramic dust.
Resistant to water, oil and diluted chemicals.
Storage: in well sealed original containers at +10 to +25°C
Shelf life:6 months
APPLICATION
MOLDING: Big quantities of Epox 210 harden much more quickly, especially when no fillers are used. MODRIN silicone rubber is recommended for moulding. Modrin is self-separating and does not need a release agent. For all other materials we recommend release agents V or S.
BINDING:First, the surface has to be thoroughly cleaned, dusted and dried. Metal surfaces have to be corrosion free. Roughen the area with a wire brush or sand paper. Acetone, benzine or trichlorethylene can be used for degreasing unporous surfaces. Do not use solvents for degreasing porous surfaces.Thoroughly mix the glue in bigger packaging before use. Prepare the glue by mixing it in proper ratio. Apply the homogenous mixture to one of the surfaces.Bind them together and if necessary, fixate them. Remove the glue stains while fresh, using one of the above mentioned solvents. Do not dilute the resin!
